In this role, he directs the day to day activities of the Accounts Payable, Furnishings and Design, Purchasing and Purchasing Card Services departments. Mr. Crabtree has spent over twenty five years in the fields of purchasing and property during his career with the Department of Finance and Administration, Office of Purchasing, Travel and Fleet Management in the Department of Finance and Administration, Mississippi State University and the University of Southern Mississippi. Milo holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Alabama, Mobile Alabama. He is actively involved in several national, state and local organizations, including the National Association of State Procurement Officers, the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, the National Property Management Association, the Mississippi Association of Governmental Purchasing/Property Agents and National Associate of Educational Procurement. Monica H. Moss Watkins, M.S.Arboretum DirectorMonica Watkins is Director of the University of Alabama Arboretum, a 60 acre botanical institution sponsored by the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Arts & Sciences. Monica graduated from the University of Alabama in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She received a Master of Science degree in Forest Resources from the University of Georgia and was a graduate teaching assistant and NSF GK-12 fellow in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi prior to returning to UA. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Science Education at Southern Miss. Monica is responsible for all operations at the Arboretum including facilities, education, research, and outreach. She supervises composting of organic waste from the University’s grounds and dining halls. Current and future Arboretum demonstrations include sustainable agriculture, forest management, alternative energy, and water conservation. |
